The first competition to be run by NE Guitars and East Durham Guitars has been won by Lee Etherington from Hartlepool. The competition for a Stagg ‘S’ type electric guitar was run throughout July as a promotion for ‘Stagg Guitars’, EDG and NE Guitars Magazine. Also presented with the guitar, was a pack of 10-49 D’Addario XS strings. Lee, who performs on the local North East circuit, Acoustic Buffoonery, a three piece acoustic band with a unique humorous twist.
Further competitions are being run throughout August including a ‘six hour’ recording package up for grabs courtesy of White Wolf Recording Studio. EDG have also run a competition for a ‘Day Set up course’ won by Brian Robinson.
