Thirty one years after recording eleven unreleased songs and twenty one years after his death, Johnny Cash is set for one more album.
Cash’s son, John Carter Cash has co-produced the project, alongside David Ferguson, the studio engineer and features country singer Vince Gill and rock band the Black Keys, guitarist Marty Stuart, drummer Pete Abbott, and upright bassist Dave Roe who sadly passed away in 2023.
Earlier this week, a single was released from the album called ‘Well Alright’ which coincided with the announcement of the album release “Songwriter” due for launch on 28 June 2024.
